Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our skilled team of professionals is the backbone of Warrior's Hope. Their ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop. Read on to learn more about some of our incredible team members.

Loren E. Minnix

President and Founder

Loren Minnix is a retired plumbing contractor who lives in Greenwood, Indiana. He is President and founder of Warrior's Hope, Inc., a not-for-profit operation assisting veterans.


Loren and his wife Becky, of over 55 years, have four children, seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.


He is a Marine who earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interpersonal and Group Communication from Trinity College and Associates Ambassador Degree through Embassy University.

Loren received Ministerial Ordination through the Independent Christian Church.


 Since the war on terrorism began Loren has spent time with Marine family support teams, and has formed Peer Support Groups for traumatized military veterans. This desire to assist military personnel and veterans has developed into an outreach to all branches of the military through an assortment of projects and programs.


He is a member of the Rocklane Christian Church, the Third Marine Division Association, the Marine Corps League, the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), the American Legion, and AMVETS. He is a former volunteer at the Roudebush VA Medical Center.

John Asbury

Vice President

John Asbury is a Christian businessman residing in Greenwood. He is an original board member and was instrumental in helping Warrior's Hope become a charitable non-profit. He presently serves as Vice President of Warrior's Hope Inc.

Todd Ensign

Secretary Treasurer

Todd Ensign is a United States Marine, having served from 1976 to 1979. He is a member of Crosspointe Community Church, and owns Ensign CPA Group. He is married to Lorra Ensign, and they have four boys, three of whom served in the USMC, and one girl, and five grandchildren.

James "Jim" Brown

Director

Grew up in LA, California.

Served in Vietnam in late 60s & early 70s

191st Airborne Division US Army

Upon return to the USA, served in the Army reserves & Indiana National Guard.

Owned a small transportation service 1971-1995.

Served as a 1st SG & CSM 1990 - 2013.

Served in Afghanistan as a senior leader with the 101st Airborne Division in 2010.

Worked with Governor Mike Pence on behalf of all veteran needs 2013-2016

Became a Christian in Vietnam

Married to Cherie Brown, and blessed with 6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Gabriel Fleck

Director

Gabe Fleck is a Navy Nuke Mechanic who served at Nuclear Power School in Charleston, SC, on the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, CA and Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bangor, WA. He was part of Operation New Dawn and Enduring Freedom and was medically retired in 2014.


He has been a member of Warrior's Hope since 2017 and a board member since 2019. 


Gabe is also a graduate of Purdue University ('09) with a BS in the College of Technology and also a graduate of American Military University ('16) with an MBA. 


He works at Factur as a team leader, which helps with manufacturing sales and marketing out of Carmel, IN.


He has been married to Erin since 2007, with three children, Sam, Sarah Jean, and Noah. He attends St. Mark the Evangelist on the Southside of Indy, where he also resides.

Warren Hardig

Director

Warren is a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is a Director Emeritus of Men For Missions International and presently serves as global ambassador for Men's for Missions International. He facilitates veteran Peer Support Groups for Warriors Hope along with other trained facilitators.
